Ten Hag won his first trophy as United manager on Sunday after his side beat Newcastle United 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final thanks to goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford.
Various reports now suggest that Ten Hag are targeting six players to improve their side in the summer transfer window.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the former Ajax manager wants United to pursue Frenkie de Jong again after failing to land a contract last summer.
The Old Trafford club originally agreed a transfer fee of £56.2million with the Catalan club but the 25-year-old simply refused to budge.
Ten Hag is said to be a big fan of Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham alongside De Jong.
Many clubs are said to be lining up to lure Bellingham away from Germany. The report also states that Ten Hag will try to sign the striker this summer when Wout Weghorst’s loan deal expires.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen are shortlisted. The club are also interested in Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos and Mohammed Kudus, who played for Ten Haga at Ajax.In terms of departures, it has been reported that United are open to offers for Anthony Martial, Alex Telles and club captain Harry Maguire.
After winning the Carabao Cup on Sunday, Ten Hag wrote an open letter to fans saying: “Believe me, this team knows exactly how important you are. The bond between the fans and the team is visible to all and what we experienced together yesterday will only strengthen that bond.
“The atmosphere you created at Wembley was amazing. You were with us from the first minute to the last, guiding the team, supporting and encouraging them to cross the finish line and bring the trophy back to Manchester.
