He claimed that Ms. Kawira, in a fit of rage, ran from the fourth floor bedroom of the rented apartment onto the balcony and made a fatal leap.
Death tragically ended the life of a brilliant woman described as full of life and optimism; a warrior who took his share of blows but endured.
Mrs. Kawira was born on January 3, 1994 into the family of Catholic priest Piotr Gitonga and mother Katarzyna Gakia and had three brothers and two sisters.
She was the mother of the late Gianna.
Ms Kawira attended Nkubu Primary School from 1997 to 2006 before attending St. Mary’s Igoji Secondary School from 2007 to 2010.
In September 2021, the late Kawira graduated with honors from the University of Nairobi with a degree in medicinal biochemistry with a major in genetics.
